HAN has finished her part amidst rapturous applause. WING, with her improved tumble turn, has helped her team secure entry to the final. HAN has become the focus of local attention as a legendary swimmer while WING is ignored. WING is unhappy and LOK goes to comfort her. HAN is afraid that LOK will sooner or later find out who has saved him. She is so worried that she decides to confide in FUNG. YAU and YU happen to overhear their conversation. CHING, who is in financial difficulties, dismisses LOK as he has to cut expenditure. HAN tries to console LOK, during which there is a small accident – LOK slips and almost falls into the sea.
