Overview
Cho Tsing and her mother Cho Cho Bi Yue are itinerant beauticians wandering the country in search of Cho Tsing's missing father. In the course of their wanderings, Cho Tsing falls in love with Tsin Tung and the two become husband and wife. San Cha has been Tsin Tung's personal maid since childhood, and the two have an understanding that ignites Cho Tsing's jealousy. Cho Tsing's attempts get rid of San Cha by marrying her off backfire when Tsin Tung realises he loves her and takes her as a concubine. Cho Tsing resents having to share a husband with another woman and, when Tsin Tung divorces her, she seeks solace with another man, her former enemy Kai Chun.

Overview
BAI-YUET takes her daughter and goes to CHIN's home, reminding them that her daughter and their son were betrothed. While they are arguing with each other, OFFICER SUN CHING-YI shows up and puts BAI-YUET in jail on the allegation of murdering her husband. LORD CHIU rules that BAI-YUET is not guilty of murder, so CHO CHING asks CHIN TUNG to make offerings of willow branches on her behalf to redeem her vow to GUAN YIN. Seeing that SHAN CHA looks after CHIN TUNG really well, CHO CHING cannot help feeling jealous. CHO CHING coerces KAI CHUN to help bring her and CHIN TUNG together after catching KAI CHUN red-handed trying to pretend to be a ghost to scare people. Looking for an ideal wife for his son CHIN TUNG, CHIN CHONG is eager to find his son a suitable girl to get married so as to help prevent them from having bad luck……
