Ki strongly believes that Leung is an innocent. She begs Chung to help Leung. Chung then faces a dilemma and eventually tells Ki that he is the one who kill Cheung. Chung cannot tolerate that Ki is oppressed by Cheung on one hand and Mui is killed by Cheung in the other, therefore, he carelessly kills Cheung in a towering anger.
