Overview
Based on the famous Chinese novel “Kam Ping Mui”, “Gentle Reflections” is about the love and hatred of three girls, Lin (Irene Wan), Yi (Kennix Kwok) and Mui (Yeung Ling). Lin was forced to marry Long (Liu Kai Chi). She was miserableand begged Chung (Tsang Wai Kuen) to take her away, but he refused. Lin was desperate and when Hing (Sinn Lap Man) came and seduced her, she was more than willing to kill Long and marry Hing. Yi loved Chung but due to misunderstanding, she married Hui instead. Hing lusted for Yi and killed Hui to get his hands on her. Yi then pretended to marry Hing in order to kill him for revenge. Lin and Yi competed for Hing’s attention and Lin’s maid Mui was involved…

Overview
CHUNG accuses LI CHUNG in front of MAN SIU. PING worries. SIU summons KAU who admits that he has lied. He states that LI CHUNG has instructed to do so. HING then asks KAU to take refuge in the countryside. However HING sends henchmen to lurk KAU who falls down a cliff. At last MAN SIU sentences LI CHUNG capital punishment after listening to the others' statements. PING begs HUI to find KAU. On the other hand, PING claims that she is the killer so as to get more time for investigation. CHUNG does not know how to help her. MAN SIU finds that case strange and sends CHUNG to find KAU. As LIN knows that HING has done so many things for her, she is impressed and gives him her body. On the other hand, she feels guilty for PING.
