"Pokey the Bear" is an episode from The New Yogi Bear Show (1988). In this episode, Yogi Bear and Boo Boo meet a bear named Pokey, who is a lot less interested in stealing picnic baskets than Yogi. Pokey is a more laid-back and slow-moving bear, preferring to take things easy and avoid any trouble. Yogi, always looking for a way to make things work in his favor, tries to teach Pokey how to be more like him and take advantage of the park visitors for food. However, Pokey’s peaceful nature keeps clashing with Yogi’s scheming ways, leading to some amusing moments where Yogi’s plans don’t work out the way he expects. Meanwhile, Ranger Smith, of course, has his hands full trying to deal with the unusual situation of two bears causing chaos in the park.
