But it’s a coastal trek that he’s chosen, starting at Cromarty on the stunning east coast of Scotland. It’s not everyone’s idea of a beauty spot. Although known as a fishing port, Cromarty harbour has been repurposed to repair oil rigs. The combination of uncompromising hunks of steel and the rugged coastline makes for an unusual skyline!
