Looking Back in Anger was a 1989 Hong Kong TV series and one of the most watched TVB series by Chinese people in Hong Kong and around the world. Many factors contributed to the success of this series. As well as its tragic but memorable storyline, this series featured a strong cast, with Felix Wong, Deric Wan, Carina Lau, Kathy Chow Hoi-Mei and Maggie Shiu. The popular theme song of the series "Yat sang ho kau" was sung by Danny Chan and later by Deric Wan himself.

Overview
Together with a few partners, Fung bids for developing cable television and he names Hong the project manager. Being envy, Yiu-Kwok tries to make Fung change his decision, but Fung gives him a lesson instead. Seeing that Kai Mei is developing very fast, Ngai-Kwai wants to make Ngai’s bigger and stronger than Kai Mei. However, he is getting old and hasn't got the necessary energy to do the job. With Cho-Kwan’s recommendation, Ngai—Kwan finally agrees to invite Kin to help him with the business. Kin feels that he hasn't got the necessary knowledge and ability and refuses the offer. Cho-Kwan is greatly disappointed. On the day "Kwan-Kin" branch restaurant opens, Mel-Yan forces Hons to visit the restaurant hoping to establish a better relationship with Kin. However, when the two brothers meet, they appear not knowing each other and Mei-Yan's effort is totally wasted……
