Overview
Wasabi Mon Amour is a TVB modern drama series broadcast in January 2008. Japanese cuisine chef Chung Lai-Wo (Michael Tao) has long been in love with his childhood friend Ko Yau-Mei (Louisa So), who is always interested in pursuing a career in showbiz. To realize her dream, Wo lies to the press and refers to Mei as "a most talented chef of the time". With Wo's help, Mei has finally landed a job as the host of a food program. As Mei is completely clueless about cooking, Wo decides to do her a favor by offering to be her assistant, which irritates his mentor Ko Shau (Paul Chun), also father of Mei, beyond measure. Although the food program turns out to be very popular, Mei often gets picked on by her half sister Ko Yim-Lai (Bernice Liu) while at work. Lai is angry with Shau for being bad to her mother and she means to make things difficult for Mei as revenge.

Overview
MEI gives up having the breast implant surgery and she runs away from the clinic. MEI loses her wallet and she calls SHAU for help. SHAU tells WO about it and WO rushes to Japan to save MEI. WO finds that MEI has rescued an old man KO YEA from committing suicide. YEA misses his deceased wife very much so he has stopped eating. KEA’s wife used to prepare Unagi rice bowl to him all the time. KO tries to prepare Unagi rice bowl to KEA and KEA regains his desire to live. YEA is a famous food critic in Japan and he misconceives that MEI is the one who prepared the Unagi rice bowl for him. The Japanese reporters come to interview MEI and they name her as “ The Beauteous Chef”. MEI’s interview segment has reached Hong Kong audience as well… Encouraged by YEA, WO decides to propose marriage to MEI and MEI agrees. MEI comes back to Hong Kong and announces her marriage plan to everybody. SHAU is happy about it.… ...
