Ek Veer Stree Ki Kahaani... Jhansi Ki Rani is an Indian historical drama based on the life of Lakshmi Bai, the Rani of Jhansi, one of the leading figures of the Indian Rebellion of 1857. The series was directed by Jitendra Srivastava and written by Rajesh Saksham, Ila Dutta Bedi, Malavika Asthana and Mairaj Zaidi. It premiered on 18 August 2009 on Zee TV with Ulka Gupta playing Queen Lakshmi Bai. On 8 June 2010 the story moved on several years and Kratika Sengar portrayed the Queen from there on. The show's last episode went to air on 19 June 2011.

Overview
Gangadhar alleges that Martin took advantage of the rumors of his death and tried to take over Jhansi. Tatya Guru asks Laxmibai to reveal her identity to everyone. But she wants to wait for the right time. When Gangadhar addresses his subjects, Karma is present there in a disguise. Gangadhar tells his people that his life was saved by Raja who has also returned the British treasure. Gangadhar also assures to take back the administration of the 11 villages. Karma wonders who Raja is. Meanwhile, Laxmibai leaves from there. Tatya Guru reveals to Moropant that Raja was none other than Manu herself. Laxmibai returns to her camp and assures the revolutionaries that the British will soon return the 11 villages. Gangadhar decides to return the treasure to the British in order to get the powers of the 11 villages. Sakhubai, Jankibai and Lacho apologise to Gangadhar, and he forgives them. Laxmibai hopes that the hatred of the villagers towards Gangadhar vanishes soon.
