Gangadhar is shocked when Laxmibai asks him to marry again to give Jhansi an heir. Gangadhar is against remarrying. Laxmibai tries to reason with Gangadhar that Jhansi needs an heir. Laxmibai tries to commits suicide as Gangadhar refuses to marry again. Gangadhar stops her. Gangadhar goes to Motibai. Motibai is worried that Gangadhar is drowning himself in alcohol. He tells Motibai that Laxmibai has asked him to get remarried and that she was ready to sacrifice her life for Jhansi. Gangadhar agrees to marry again provided Laxmibai selects the bride and looks into the marriage preparations too. Laxmibai announces in the court about Gangadhar's second marriage and that she will select a bride for Gangadhar. Everyone is shocked.
