Laxmibai feels that Ganga is the right bride for Gangadhar. Laxmibai asks the royal physician if Ganga is physically fit to become a mother. Laxmibai asks Ganga about her birth time and place. With this information, she visits the priest who tells Laxmibai that Ganga's horoscope matched with that of Gangadhar Rao and the earliest that they could marry was within ten days. Jankibai and Nelson are tensed as they don't understand what Laxmibai was up to. Ganga is distressed when Laxmibai asks her if she would like to become a queen. Ganga collides with Gangadhar when she runs away. Gangadhar is shocked when Laxmibai tells him that she wants Ganga to be the queen of Jhansi.
