The fourth season aired Wednesday nights at 8/9c in the United States averaging 21.1 million viewers a week. The season was released on DVD as an eight disc boxed set under the title of 'Beverly Hills, 90210: The Fourth Season on April 29, 2008 by CBS DVD. This season marks Shannen Doherty's final season as Brenda Walsh on Beverly Hills, 90210 but Doherty returned as Brenda on the updated Beverly Hills, 90210 spin off, 90210. This is also the first appearance of Kathleen Robertson as Clare Arnold and Mark Damon Espinoza as Jesse Vasquez.
