Ghost Writer is a 2010 Hong Kong television series produced by TVB. The protagonist of the series, Po Chung-ling, is based on the author of Strange Stories from a Chinese Studio, a collection of Chinese tales on the supernatural. The series tells how he was inspired to write those stories based on his personal encounters with the supernatural.

Overview

LING begs SING to release POON so that they could cure his illness but SING rejects him. TING rather dies than marrying the man introduced by SING. She sends LING a letter for she hopes to see him for the last time. In order to resolve the misunderstandings, LING brings TSUI to see TING. TING realizes that she has misunderstood everything and she is heart-broken. With the help of TSUI, LING helps bring TING’s soul out of her body. SING believes that TING has died and he is very ashamed. He reveals himself in front of TING and TING finally realizes his good intentions. TING’s soul returns to her body and she reconciles with SING. SING agrees to release POON. Encouraged by YU, JIT returns to work as a Constable. Many villagers are believed to be possessed and CHUNG requests JIT to investigate the case. Rumors say that after watching one of the PO’s New Year prints, Houseful of Treasures, a person will be possessed.… ...
