Overview

The Criminal Investigator II is a 1996 Hong Kong police procedural television drama. Produced by Jonathan Chik and edited by Chow Yuk-ming and Chiu Ching-yung, the drama is a TVB production and the direct sequel to 1995's The Criminal Investigator. The story follows a team of investigators from the Organized Crime and Triad Bureau unit of the Royal Hong Kong Police Force.

Overview

WAl sees the back of a short-hair man (STING) in the video-tape taped by the CCTV system of a 24 hours store at the murder spot. This man calls to the police station and leaves. YING is sentenced not guilty. Sand YING talk about CHUNG at the disco. YING calls CHUNG to drink with her. However, CHUNG does not show up. YING goes out for a ride with some customer. S disguises as CHUNG to page YING. S asks YING to see him in a hotel. YING leaves after she found out that he is S. CHUNG finds S's address which is same as WAI's finding. They find that the house is empty. They find that YING's pictures are post all over the wall. They know that the murderer admires YING a lot. The cops make use of YING to lure the murderer. However, the murderer does not show up. CHUNG sends YING home. Spires a knife into CHUNG's back. CHUNG fires S. S is shot to death. CHUNG is slightly injured!
