Overview
They experience life and death as they race against time to save patients. In their quest to become physicians, have they ever stopped to think about what their mission and limitations are? Neurosurgery trainee Cheung Yat-kin does not have time for love – he has to work hard to support his younger brother, who is paralyzed from the waist down, to study overseas. His life is his work, until he meets Fan Tze-yu, who is also a reputable doctor and whose father is a well-known physician. Deeply attracted to Yat-kin’s talent and personality, Tze-yu is not hesitant to express her love for him from the start. But before Yat-kin can make up his mind on whether to accept her, the news of his younger brother’s death comes, causing him to become a totally different person.

Overview
YAT-KIN suffers from gastric hemorrhage and he is sent to the hospital. When his mother and TZE-YU arrive, YAT-KIN refuses to see them. TZE-YU suspects that YAT-KIN is suffering from emotional illness and she asks BING-CHAN to check him out. SIU-YIK lies to his wife that he will be picking up their son but he asks SIU-BING to go instead and the police is alerted. TZE-YU tells HO-TAK that she want to resume her work and HO-TAK accepts her request. MOYUNG WAI is attracted by MAN-YUET and he chats her up. MAN-SAN believes that MOYUNG WAI and MAN-YUET will not be able to communicate with each other. SHUI-WAH admires PUI-CHUNG for performing his first major operation successfully. PUI-CHUNG reveals that he doesn't know what to do for TZE-TING is in love with him secretly. When chatting with each other, everybody discover that SHUI-WAH's new lover is TAI WING-SEE from the neurosurgery division……
