To curry favor with her, Paolo presents himself as a skilled cook and is forced to prove it by hosting a dinner for the entire family. Eva comes to his rescue once again, helping him in the kitchen. Following a minor incident with Aunt Filomena, Angoscia jumps out the window and disappears. Laura, unable to bear to inflict this pain on Nina, decides to replace the cat with another, but she hasn't counted on Aunt Elvira's presence. Cristina and Raoul, meanwhile, realize that the time has come to tell Paolo the truth.
