Overview

What makes two become one? Family background and social status? Expectations and opinions of others? Good timing? Or their physical attraction for each other? Internationally acclaimed artist Chloe Tung Hoi-Yiu makes use of her die-hard supporter Yu Chun-Tung to stop the gossip about her love affairs and thus to turn around her image. After spending a lot of time with him, she gets to know the taste of true love for the first time. Although the relationship is nothing more than just a show, she finds it impossible to leave this ordinary man. As they negotiate the travails of life and love, Chloe and Chun-Tung become intertwined with the lives of three other couples. What is love anyway? An excuse or a weakness? A duty or a punishment?

Overview

To get rid of the incessant rumors, international celebrity, Chloe (Charmaine Sheh) used her loyal fan, Locus (Moses Chan), to create a sociable public image. As they spent more time with each other, Chloe experienced what love actually is. Though these are just false plays for the public, deep down she knew she is unable to leave this average Joe. Other true-to-live relationships in the series also vividly showcased 'distance' makes the heart grows fonder; sportscaster Cyrus (Kenny Wong) long-time friendship with his friend’s wife Kelly (Elvina Kong), tobacco control officer Danny (Wai Ka Hung) rejecting Elsa (Tracy Ip) due to fearing social ridicule as she is 5 inch taller than him, financial investment protégé Nick (King Kong) encounter with nightclub cougar Hayley (Rachel Kan) – both only seeking sexual conquest but end up with true feelings.
