Overview
In the early 90's Ching Long, a young rebellious man who moved from Hong Kong to Taiwan against his father's wishes, and his best friend Ko Tin Chun, who is a successful young architect. Ching Long returns to Hong Kong working manual labour jobs and also as a stunt double. His family consists of his son, his father, and younger sister. The story revolves around Long and misunderstanding with his father as well as his romantic relationships with a Vietnamese refugee Chin Kiu and his sister's best friend, Sum Mun Yee.

Overview
In order to secure Shin Tai's trust, Tin Chun tries his best to flatter Shiu Tai. Thus, Shin Tai has gradually developed good will towards Tin Chun. However, Tin Chun finds that Shin Tai still respects Man Yi more. He is discontented. Kuen Suk's nephew Ah Kwai asks him to migrate to live with him in Canada. Kuen Suk is in hesitation. In order to make Shin Tai become more lonesome, Tin Chun makes a plot. He makes Shin Tai dissatisfied with Ah Kwai so that Kuen Suk has made up his mind to migrate to Canada. When Shin Tai finds that the employee who followed him for decades has also left him, he becomes more lonesome. While Shin Tai and Man Yi are chatting, he mentions Lai Bing. He still accuses Lai Bing for she has left him because of his poverty. Man Yi is displeased. She decides that she will never reveal their relation to Shin Tai until he has recognized his assumption is wrong. Yan Ping meets one of her fellow countrymen……
