Overview
The story follows the lead characters through their experiences as members of the Police Negotiation Cadre (PNC). The PNC is a volunteer unit of the Hong Kong police force specializing in negotiations with terrorist members, partakers of local violence, and individuals contemplating suicide. The whole series is dotted with both large and small cases handled by the story's heroes and heroines.

Overview
KIT concentrates at her work again. WU has a business trip. KWONG gives WU a ride to the airport. He even asks WU to pass a gift to his first love, ADA. TUNG knows that CHING and CHUNG are going to leave Hong Kong. He goes to the airport to see them. TUNG beats CHUNG. CHING protects CHUNG and admits that she does love CHUNG. TUNG is heart-broken. KWONG witnesses the scene. TUNG warns KWONG to keep his mouth shut. TUNG is so upset that he vents his anger to his family member. TUNG’s younger sister, BO and his elder brother, FU are his targets. TUNG concentrates at his work. He orders his subordinates, SHEK, KEUNG, LUN and CHOW to clear all outstanding cases as soon as possible. All are sick of him. TUNG and CHING’s divorce case soon spread all over the police station. TUNG thinks that it was KWONG’s bad deed. KWONG shares his negotiation experience with the PND members.
