Overview
MA FU, a retired employee of the HK Correctional Services Department, moved back to live with his son after retirement. MA FU treats and disciplines everyone in his family as if they were the offenders he works with in his job. His youngest son MA CHONG feels like he's in jail when he gets home, and his father is even often involved with his job as a paralegal. The father and son get into disputes daily and his elder brother MA KEUNG and his wife LO LAI SEUNG are often stuck in between and have to settle the disputes. The couple also holds the heavy responsibility of raising their kids. Three generations in the MA family all live together and encounter different situations, experiences and system of values.

Overview
SUK-HAN misconceives that LUNG-FUK has picked up her diamond bracelet and she asks him to give it back to her. They start a quarrel and LAI-SHEUNG mediates between them. Later, SUK-HAN realizes that she has offended her boss CHING’s father accidentally and she is worried. JIU-JO sends CHI-SHING a little jade mouse telling him that this will bring him good luck. MA CHONG warns CHI-SHING to beware of JIU-JO for he tries to please him with no reason but CHI-SHING doesn’t take it seriously. MA YAU finds all colleagues searching for something in the office. This is because Manager GA has lost his ancient jade pendant. Manager GA says that LUNG-FUK has been searching for this jade pendant from his ancestors by offering a very good price. SUK-HAN asks LAI-SHEUNG to help arranging a dinner with LUNG-FUK and CHING for she wants to apologize to LUNG-FUK by sending him some dried persimmons from her hometown……
