He agrees with the Sultan when he mentions his plans for Razia's future. Mirza asks Sultan to let him break the news to Razia. Razia is under the false impression that her father has agreed to the marriage. Shamshad Begum confronts Sultan about his decision. Iltutmish declares his plans to make Razia the Sultan.
