Santa Sombra

Juana is a 15-year-old indigenous girl who lives in the Altiplano, whose older sister Marisol is captured by a human trafficking network. Juana makes a pact with 'The Beheaders,' two cursed spirits that take the form of two machetes. The power of the machetes will transform Juana into 'The Shadow of the Altiplano,' a vengeance-thirsty antiheroine who seeks to rescue her sister and eradicate the abusers of the region.
