Overview
On Chinese Valentine’s Day, Emma carefully prepares for her date with Kevin, only to be met with a series of indifferent voice messages. Feeling dismissed and disappointed, with frustration simmering beneath the surface, something magical happens. The film adopts a whimsical, surrealist approach, using fantasy and visual metaphor to explore themes of female desire, emotional neglect, and empowerment. Through clever camera work and rhythmic pacing, the filmmaker invites viewers into a sensuous, playful world where laughter and longing coexist. Her creative aim is to open a space for women’s inner worlds—especially their needs, frustrations, and fantasies—to be seen, heard, and fully felt.
