To Love

Mary has always been a loving mother. When left alone to care for her mother-in-law and 10-year old son, the lines between a caregiver and a mother are blurred. In their home, Mary washes their clothes, hangs them, and folds them. Nanay Ditas, diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease, struggles with her memory lapses, mood changes, and personality shifts. Mary tries to find a path towards healing through the sacredness of doing laundry.
