Overview
Documentary portrays the work of the Italian cinematographer, the official cameraman hired by the federal government to document the construction of Brasília in the 1950s. The film brings to the public the official audiovisual archives of the construction of Brazil's capital designed by the architects Oscar Niemeyer and the urban planner Lucio Costa. The documentary is the result of the analysis of over 3000 feet and over 300 hours of rare footage produced form the 1950s to the 1970s, covering the period from the presidency of Juscelino Kubitschek to the military dictatorship established in 1964.
