In Hiroshima and Nagasaki, bodies were vaporised by nuclear flash, leaving only shadows burned into stone. In DIsINCARNATE, Cinzia Nistico presses human skin and hair directly into 16mm film emulsion, asking whether a trace can become a different form of life.
