A trilogy of coming of age stories based on the short stories of Kentucky writer, Gurney Norman. The shape of young Wilgus Collier's life described in encounters at three different ages; with a fast-talking trickster at age 9, with a hell-raising uncle at age 14, and with the woman of his adolescent dreams, only he is now 23 and she is 37.
