Dasis of Yellamma

In India since ancient times, there have been several practices being followed. Dedicating girls to goddess Yellamma is one such practice known as 'Devdasi'. The law against Devdasi practice is existed. The Documentary is informative and throw light upon the burning social issue. Writer, Journalist Suresh Chavan has written and directed a Documentary film, 'Dasis of Yellamma' to highlight this social problem. Devendra Jadhav also helped to direct and produce this documentary.
