A pretty woman's tears are the greatest persuasive argument on the planet earth. A woman's tears will melt the coldest heart, and will make the heart manifest itself when there isn't any at all. They were in love, and pa frowned on the romance. When a pa frowns on a romance between a pretty, determined girl and the man "she was born to marry" there's always an interesting story.
