The Story of Jin Ling

Set in 1950s. Veteran Mancang returns home country which locates in north China. He falls in love with Lanying. But she wants to go to the city because she is influenced by a girl who went there earlier. Lanying's brother and his wife live in the city and they both persuade her to stay in the country and work hard for good life.
