Jorge Garate was an editor who participated throughout his career in dozens of films beginning in the golden age of Argentine cinematography with the film "Y mañana serán hombres " in 1939. He was a member of the Argentine production company Sono Film. He worked with illustrious directors such as Luis César Amadori, Enrique Carreras, Leopoldo Torre Nilsson, and others.
