Procópio Ferreira, stage name João Procópio Ferreira (Rio de Janeiro, July 8, 1898 – Rio de Janeiro, June 18, 1979), was a Brazilian actor, theater director, and playwright. Nicknamed "the glory of Brazilian culture," he is considered the greatest Brazilian actor of the 20th century.
