Biography
Rodney Douglas Trongard was a renowned American sports broadcaster with over 50 years of experience in radio and television in Minnesota. He covered basketball, football, and hockey for teams like the Minneapolis Lakers, Minnesota Vikings, and Minnesota Gophers. In the 1980s, he was the lead voice for the American Wrestling Association (AWA), with broadcasts on ESPN, and had a brief stint in the WWF. He passed away in 2005 and was inducted into the Pavek Museum of Broadcasting Hall of Fame in 2003.
