AKSHAY PAROONON

Akshay Paroonon is a Kerala- and Tamil Nadu–based cinematographer and visual artist. He holds a Bachelor of Visual Arts in Cinematography from the Tamil Nadu Government MGR Film & Television Institute (Adyar Film Institute), Chennai, and a BA in English from Kannur University. He was the cinematographer of Colors of Kollywood, an IDSFFK officially nominated documentary later released on Pa. Ranjith’s Neelam Productions YouTube channel. His work spans documentaries, short films, music videos—including a music video "AKAME" sung by Sithara Krishnakumar—and advertising. His visual language is restrained and mood-driven, with a strong focus on light, space, and atmosphere.
