Pallavi Tripathi

Pallavi Tripathi is an Indian screenwriter born and raised in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. Trained in architecture, she balances her professional work at an architectural firm alongside her growing engagement with filmmaking, a passion she developed early in school through watching and discussing films. Her first short film, Pushpak Vimaan (2024), is a light-hearted comedic narrative that follows a young man’s meticulously planned romantic proposal, driven by belief in horoscopes and fate, and the chaos that ensues. Her second film, Itchkiyoon! (2025), blends humour with introspection, centering on a protagonist forced to confront his habits and choices after an unexpected health warning. Through her work, Tripathi continues to explore storytelling while navigating both architecture and cinema, using filmmaking as a space to experiment, observe life, and grow creatively.
