Sarah fell in love with music at a young age, and began taking formal piano lessons at age 7. She continued playing through high school, and earned superior ratings at OMEA competitions all four years. Her piano playing eventually earned her the Young Artists scholarship award at Otterbein University, where she earned her bachelor's degree in music. During this time she also taught private lessons at the Conservatory of Piano, to students ranging from ages 3 to 70.
