Julio de la Rosa (Jerez de la Frontera, August 18, 1972) is a musician and film score composer. He has been considered a multidisciplinary artist due to the number of artistic facets he successfully pursues: composer, multi-instrumentalist, singer, record producer, but also writer, photographer, filmmaker, and more. He is especially famous for his film and television scores, a field in which he has received major awards, including the Goya Award for Best Original Score for Marshland (2015) and the Andalusian Film Writers Association Award for the film Cousins (2012), in addition to other awards and nominations. His own albums are always very well received by critics and audiences alike. He first gained recognition as the singer, songwriter, and guitarist of the band El Hombre Burbuja, active between 1995 and 2002.
