The army's toughest mountaineers set out to conquer Everest the hard way: via the deadly West Ridge route. Of the 2,219 people who have climbed it, only 19 have made it through the hellish West Ridge, and 21 have died trying. If the team succeeds, they'll make mountaineering history.
