The Chief

The Chief is a British television crime drama series that aired on ITV from 20 April 1990 to 16 June 1995, starring Michael Cochrane, Tim Pigott-Smith and Martin Shaw. Produced by Anglia Television, the series centred on the politics at the top of a typical English police force in its continual battle to solve the problems the times, in this case the fictional Eastland of East Anglia.
